This is our 3D model reflections~~
Ahmad 2e6
Our group has discussed how we are going to make the 3D model playground. This 3d model playground, some of the items used will be based on the novel itself. The material we used are ice-cream sticks, plasticine, styrofoam board, cardboard, superglue, glue and last but not least paint. The reason we used all this cheap items is because we have a low budget.
We made 2 trees. This is related to bridge to terabithia because bridge to terabithia is more to the natural environment. But in this 3d model playground we only choosed to make 2 trees because if we are going to surround the playground with trees,it wil be a bit dull.At first we planned to use real twigs and leafs to make the trees but we dont think this plan will work.Next item we made that are related to bridge to terabithia is a 'house' which is quite tall and needs to be climbed. In the novel this is the place where Jesse and Leslie always relax themselves.
Other things that we made are swing,a monkey bar,a playground slide, and benches. We surround the playground with fences. The background we made as colourful as possible. The whole process took us for approximately 2.5 hours to complete. And its very tiring so please give us more marks for our effort

Eco-friendly features about my group’s 3D-model Remarks (e.g. materials to be used, relevant research with links, photograph links etc)
We use ice cream sticks with recyclable materials like shoebox and plasticine. We use photographs from sites like yahoo, google and flickr, etc.
Playground designs/concepts that are linked to the novel Explanation of how the designs/concepts are linked to the novel
1) There are 2 trees found in our playground.
2) There are wooden houses in our playground
3) There are bridges made of wood.
4) There is a rope where children can swing. 1) The trees are like the trees in the novel where Jessie and Leslie swing around.
2) The wooden house is the house where they built in the forest.
3) The bridge is where they crossed to reach the forest.
4) The swing is where they swing to get to the forest.
Playground designs/concepts that meet the special needs of the children Explanation of how the designs meet the special needs of the children
The playground has many facilities that meet the requirements of the sick children. There are different special facilities like the wide ramp where children who sits on the wheelchair can go through. The play facilities like the rope swinging has low height so children will not fall and injure themselves.
